Greek cuisine lies in its simplicity and warmth, best savored with loved ones. The treasured recipes, passed down through generations from the island of Cyprus are at the heart of Andrea's gatherings and will be taught and shared with us. 

Rooted in tradition, Greek food is meant to be shared, and she has proudly continued this heritage at home, where every meal is a celebration of community and connection.

Her class will begin with a beautiful conversation, and we will then join Andrea around the bench for a demonstration and hands-on class cooking Kleftiko / lamb and potato parcels and pita bread. Andrea will share her traditional Greek salad, cabbage salad, tarama dip and a dessert of Galaktoboureko and Saganaki, a cheese, fried with honey, walnuts and thyme.

Andrea is a high school teacher by day, culinary enthusiast by night. She is a passionate home cook dedicated to preserving the rich flavors of Greek Cypriot cuisine. 

When she's not grading papers, you can find her in the kitchen cooking up a storm with her beloved grandparents & family, capturing her traditional recipes and stories for generations to come. 

Andrea is passionate about her delicious journey sharing family secrets, cultural heritage, and the joy of cooking with love and we cannot wait to have her in the school with us all.

The class begins at 2pm with a glass of vino on arrival. Andrea and the team at Moonacres look forward to seeing you soon.
