In Spain everything is around a table. Food brings people together and builds memories.

There are so many traditional recipes for different occasions and festivities. If we really think about it, most of the most important celebrations start or finish around a table. Food can make you travel to different countries and bring your childhood back with your favourite homemade meal and that is something Claudia loves about food.

Claudia is with us to share her favourite foods and create a feast that embodies her passion of Spanish food.

She is originally from Madrid, Spain.

She discovered her passion at an early age and decided to start her studies in the culinary arts at the age of 16. After graduating, she did a stage at the 3 Michelin star restaurant Martin Berasategui and since then worked for some of the best renowned chefs in the world like Ferran and Albert Adrià, Dabiz Muñoz, Paco Peréz, Rafa Zafra and Tony Botella.

In 2018 she moved to Australia, landing in Byron Bay and started working at Conscious Ground, a regenerative Certified Organic farm as their Food Design Manager.


In 2022 she joined the board of Eat Spanish as their Vice-President 2nd, Eat Spanish is a non for-profit association that showcases Spanish food and wine culture.

She is the co-host of a food and wine-oriented radio program called "La Sobremesa" at a Brisbane radio station.
