Being creative has so many positive benefits and we have seen so often in a Brooke Munro class, the increased level of happiness and the deep satisfaction for the inspiration found for various aspects of our lives.
Brooke is an incredibly creative teacher and artist and to spend a few hours with her is always enjoyable and fun. In this class you will learn the art of cord making, knotless netting and bag making.First you will learn to make cord using foraged and prepared plant fibres. From the prepared cord you will create a bag using knotless netting techniques such as looping, figure of eight, twisted and round stitches. Brooke will be demonstrating these varied techniques and will be hands on when teaching the differing netting styles.
Additional string/cord will be on hand for speedier creations.
All tools and materials (including the hemp string) for this class will be supplied and included in the ticket price.
The class runs from 9.30am to 1.30pm with homemade treats from the school with a Moonacres light lunch.
Brooke will be teaching another class in the afternoon, Random Weave Basket Making, and we have a two class offer at a discounted price.
