Learn to make your very own string produce bag from 100% Nepalese hemp with our great friend and artisan, Brooke Munro.
These bags are perfect for collecting your own garden produce, visits to farmers markets or using around the home.
First you will learn to make cord using the hemp as well as a few locally sourced and prepared plant fibres. This will be followed by building the body of your bag using differing string bag techniques, similar to those used for knotless netting.
All tools and materials (including the hemp string) for this class will be supplied and included in the ticket price.

- a range of tips from Brooke to develop your knowledge of weaving techniques and the use of plant fibres
