Our Winter harvest class celebrates slow cooking for comforting feasts...we are thinking whole roasted, spiced cauliflower, caramelised vegetable pie, slow cooked ragu, fruit tarts...and more!
Join local cook and author Anna Phillips for a focus on seasonal and local. Anna will show you how to take inspiration from the produce and create a range of comforting, rib sticking dishes.
This class will give you a combination of practical tips and techniques - simple ideas for warming dishes to bring comfort in the cold, or show stoppers for your Winter dinner party.In this class we will focus on:
- slow cooking techniques and approaches
- How to add depth and flavour using seasonal vegetables and spices
- pastry making skills
The class runs from 10am to 2pm.
